Golf Tournament

The Annual Leonard B. Donohoe Memorial Golf Tournament is usually held during the month of June, at the Shawnee Golf & Country Club.  The tournament was started in memory of a long time Milford residents and Milford Lions Club member, known to most people as Len.  Len joined the Milford Lions Club, January 1953, and was very active throughout his 45 years as a Lion.  Len had 45 year’s perfect attendance; he held every office in our club and held several District level offices.  Len and his wife Charlotte hardly ever missed a Multiple District Convention.  

This years tournament entry fee is $65/person, (Shawnee members $45), each player receives a goody bag and door prize (estimated value $25).  The entry fee also includes a Continental breakfast (coffee, bagels, donuts and juice), hot dogs and hamburgers for lunch and refreshments on the course.  Prizes are awarded for first, second and third place low net, closest to pin on all par 3’s, and straightest drive.  If you would like to enter a team or need more information, contact us by e-mail at ricand3@comcast.net
